What do you need to know: 1. Instrument families 2. Instruments in the band (with correct spelling) 3. Note Types 4. Note Values 5. Note Names (including ledger lines) in the clef of your instrument 6. Time Signatures 7. Counting 8. Dynamics 9. Articulations 10. Music Analysis October 18: Playing Test
This playing test will be done on one portion of either Portrait of a Clown or Cumberland Cross. Students are asked to research the different types of clowns. Please name each type of clown, explain how to identify them, and how they differ from each other. (Include pictures.) Then explain which type(s) of clowns are represented in Portrait of a Clown and why you think that type of clown is represented.
There is no set length or number of words required.
